Medicare
Just as having Medicare is a privilege for people 65+, it is also a privilege for Helping Families LLC to properly provide and educate you so that your participation in Medicare is as advantageous as possible.
What is Medicare?
Learn about the different parts of Medicare, what it costs, and how it works. It's important to understand the different parts of Medicare before deciding how to get coverage.
What are my coverage options?
The two main ways to get your Medicare coverage are: Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage. Explore this section to understand your options and find out what's best for you before making a decision.
Because you receive Social Security benefits at least 4 months before you turn 65, you don't need to do anything to enroll.
What coverage do you want?
Original Medicare
Once you have Part A and/or Part B, you have Original Medicare.
Most people add prescription drug coverage by choosing to join a Medicare drug plan (Part D). You can also add coverage by purchasing a Medigap policy.
Medicare Advantage
You can choose to join a Medicare Advantage or other Medicare health plan instead of Original Medicare.
